The Turkish Promotion Foundation aims to promote Turkey’s development in the fields of history, tourism and culture. With a wide repertoire of more than 800 shows, the TUTAV Show and Art Group has toured 37 countries around the world. The court dance, at which the group is highly skilled, is one of the most popular dance forms in Turkey. Turkish girls often perform this traditional dance with brisk steps and rhythmic variations on festive celebrations such as weddings. Over the sweep of history, Turkish people have developed dance traditions with richness and diversity. Most of Turkish traditional dances express people’s passion for life, pursuit of love, faith in religion and happy feelings on festive occasions. |
